Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Our swimming squad put in a fantastic effort at last Thursday’s North Shore Primary School Swim Competition at the AUT Millennium Centre. We competed against 21 other schools from all over the shore and came 11th on total points. Of note, Kaira Wohlfarth won 1st Place 25m Freestyle and 1st Place 25m Back - Girls Under 8. Sister Safra Wohlfarth won 1st Place in 25m Freestyle - Girls 10 and Over and Jaden L’Ami won 3rd Place in 25m Back - Boys 10 and Over. They have all attended early morning trainings twice a week over the last 5 weeks and everyone has shown huge commitment and great team spirit. Special thanks to all the squad parents for attending practices and events and driving us all around!
Congratulations to all swimmers! Go BPS!
Triangles: 329 Triangles booked yesterday! Thanks parents for making this special time for your children and their learning. It was a beautiful evening and the children enjoyed playing before and after their triangles. Walking around the school, I saw and heard lots of children talking animatedly about their learning with their parents and their teacher.
Mr Tyler is leaving! Mr Tyler finishes up this Friday. We have very much enjoyed having him on our staff. He has provided many, many opportunities for children through the school - EOTC, Sports, Lunchtime clubs etc, in addition to the commitment he has shown for children and their learning. Best wishes Adrian, Anna, and Thoren. Miss Little is teaching Room 13 for the next few weeks whilst we continue the search for a new teacher.

Greedy Cat is sneaky. He is as fast as lightning. He loves scrumptious food and he is naughty. The next day Mum put some pepper in the bag. He didn’t like it. He will never do that again!

The sneaky seagulls ate Mr Grinling’s lunch and he was furious. So the next day Mrs Grinling put some mustard in the basket. “YUK!” screeched the seagulls. By Jack Armour
Room 13 has been describing a person we all know:
He has floppy, golden brown hair and light blue eyes. He always has his wizard sunglasses on top of his fluffy head. He makes me excited to come to school. Sometimes he does the ‘I’m-watching-you’ 'eyebrow’ but mostly has a
mischievous grin. He’s funny and makes us laugh but don’t be fooled; you wouldn’t want to see him angry. This person loves to say the phrase ‘Your Face!’ He is a big shaggy dog. (If you guessed Mr Tyler- you’re right)!
