Enrolment process

PLEASE NOTE: This enrolment information is for New Zealand citizens and permanent residents (including Australian citizens). International students should refer to the section International Students for international enrolment information.

All children must be enrolled prior to beginning at Birkenhead Primary School. The enrolment zone is shown below. If you live outside the enrolment zone, you may still apply to enrol your child at the school, but acceptance is subject to places being available.

To enrol, you just need to fill in an enrolment form and bring it in to the school along with the following documentation:

• Child's birth certificate or current passport
• Immunisation certificate

Birkenhead Primary School enrolment zone

• Mokoia Road and streets off it past Roseberry Avenue intersection to “Physio” building opposite office block, not including Chelsea View Drive but including Porritt Avenue to Blundell intersection.
• Highbury bypass and streets off it.
• Hinemoa Street, all streets off it and all streets off those.
• Maritime Terrace and all streets off it.
• Onewa Road to Wernham Place, including Park Avenue but not including Kauri Glen Road.
• Birkenhead Avenue and all streets off it, not including Pupuke Road.
• Western side of Glenfield Road to Coroglen intersection
